Prophecy Sign: Thessalonians 5: 3-4: 3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”
I want to keep you updated on what I have been warning you about concerning Paul’s warning as seen in the scripture above. I want to make sure you see how the call for peace and safety connects with the Psalm 83 War. As you can see from the photo below, the Palestinians, Hezbollah, and Syria are some of the people listed to attack Israel in the Psalm 83 War.
Paul makes it clear that at a time when we hear a call for peace and safety, that would be the time sudden destruction will come. Psalm 83 makes is very clear who is going to come against Israel in the last days. As I mentioned, Egypt is one of the nations that will try and destroy Israel, and if you know Egypt is one of the nations that will attack Israel you have to understand that any peace agreement between Israel and Egypt will disappear. Let’s take a look at what one Hezbollah official stated yesterday.
I know many of our younger generation kids may not know what the Camp David Agreement is so for your sake let me give you some info on this. For years Israel and Egypt had tried to come to some agreement not to be enemies any longer. In 1979 US President Jimmy Carter had a breakthrough and he managed to bring Egypt and Israel together to sign a peace pact. It was the first sign that a Muslim nation could get along with Israel. Since 1979 that peace agreement has never been broken; however, knowing what the Psalm 83 War shows us, I have been warning everyone that this historic peace pact will fade away. We are seeing the signs of this coming to pass now as you read from the news above. If you read the entire report, link provided, you will read the following quote. “The Syrians transfer arms to the Palestinian resistance”. As you can see, the Syrians are helping the people who are listed in the Psalm 83 War. I have posted many reports in 2011 which showed you Syria’s President has stated he will attack Israel if outside nations attack his government. From this next report, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is pressing for such an attack. What I found interesting is we see the same words used in Paul’s warning.
Is it possible that the Psalm 83 War will come as Israel is seeking peace and security and the world is also calling for this same peace and security? Can it be that the Psalm 83 War will begin as a result of Syria’s President giving orders to attack Israel in the hope of turning attention away form what is going on in Syria? I think it is very possible and that is why I am watching these events very close.
“Tehran — Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood will eventually cancel the Camp David Agreement, despite the group’s announcement that it respects international agreements Egypt has signed, said Amin al-Sayed Ibrahim, head of Hezbollah’s political council.”
“US Secretary of StateHillary Clinton said Monday that the UN Security Council "must act" on Syria to end President Bashar al-Assad's "violent and brutal attacks" against demonstrators. Amid Russian opposition to a tough resolution on Syria, Clinton said that she would travel to the United Nations on Tuesday to "send a clear message of support to the Syrian people: we stand with you." "The United States condemns in the strongest possible terms the escalation of the Syrian regime's violent and brutal attacks on its own people," Clinton said in a statement. "The Security Council must act and make clear to the Syrian regime that the world community views its actions as a threat to peace and security. The violence must end, so that a new period of democratic transition can begin," she said.”
Is it possible that the Psalm 83 war will come as Israel is seeking peace and security and, the world is also calling for this same peace and security? Can it be that the Psalm 83 war will begin as a result of Syria’s President giving orders to attack Israel in the hope of turning attention away form what is going on in Syria? I think it is very possible and that is why I am watching these events very close.
"And there shall be signs in the sun" (Luke 21:25a). “The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was given power to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him…Men gnawed their tongues in agony and cursed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, but they refused to repent of what they had done” (Revelation 16:8-11). "…and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven” (Luke 21:11b). “Therefore are they before the throne of God; and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat” (Revelation 7:15-16).
“Spicewood Beach Days Away From Running Out of Water”. “The community of Spicewood Beach, about 40 miles northwest of Austin, is just days away from running out of water. As Andy Uhler and Terrence Henry of KUT News report, the owner of Spicewood's water system is preparing to truck in water to meet residents' needs.”

Prophecy Sign: Why America will keep declinging in power. In my Jan. 11, 2012 post I addressed why the United States will decline in power. In my warning on Jan. 11th I told you to watch what happens to the American dollar as nations begin to buy oil without using the US dollar! I gave you an example of a news report concerning this issue and below is a section from a report I gave you.
"I quote: “A grim Ministry of Finance report prepared for Prime Minister Putin is warning today that the decision by Iran to cease taking US Dollars for its oil could very be the “first shot” fired in World War III, and one which Russia will be blamed for by the Obama regime. According to this report, Iran swiftly countered planed US sanctions against its Central Bank yesterday by announcing that it will no longer accept the US Dollar as payment for its oil shipments to India, Japan and China, and further announced that bilateral trade between itself and Russia will, also, break from the US Dollar for settlement in favor of the Iranian Rial and Russian Rubles." Before I connect the dots between Bible prophecy and current events I would ask you to do a Google search using the following as your search: (gold sets new record high frank dimora). Why am I pointing to the rise in gold when I am on the subject of America declining? Because if you know Bible prophecy and watch current events you can see how and why the prices of both gold and silver will keep going up. Before I connect the dots between the current news read Revelation 18:12. "The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all citron wood, and all manner of vessels of ivory, and all manner of vessels of most precious wood, and of bronze, and iron, and marble,"
As you can see from the scripture gold is one of the items listed that the Lord is going to take away from the people and, as you can see the people living in the tribulation period are going to be weeping over their lost gold. How do I know the prices will go up? For one thing, no one in their right mind will weep over something that isn’t valuable to them. But here is the main reason why I know this to be true, just read Revelation 18:15. “The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,”
Here we are told that people have become rich by these items so put two and two together and you can see that gold prices must have shot through the roof and that is what has been happening in the past few years. Gold prices have continued to climb and if you believe Christ's warning you will understand gold will keep going up until Jesus rips it away from the world during the tribulation.
Now let's tie in the current news of today and I will show you the road leading to what will help drive the price of gold up again. I quote, "According to a new and yet unconfirmed report, India bought oil from Iran using gold. India certainly has the gold resources to fund the oil, while Iran is under pressure by the West, due the continuation of its nuclear program. There were reports that officials have been floating this idea for some time, and now, as the EU finally decided upon an oil embargo on Iran, more details became available, yet still pend confirmation. As I said in many of my posts and in my videos, nations are going to being to dump the US dollar as a reserve currency. Buying oil using gold is new and anyone who knows business knows what will happen to gold prices once this starts. Today's report points the following info, "The use of gold for buying the No. 1 commodity, will likely have positive implications for the precious metal, if this report is confirmed and especially if the use of gold widens to China – the world’s No. 2 economy."
Once more nations drop the US dollar as a reserve currency and, the currency used to buy oil the value of the US dollar will drop like a man jumping from a plane without a parachute. What do you think will happen to the US economy once that happens? The US dollar will devalue to the point where we will see a new reserve currency take the place of the US dollar. Some are talking about gold becoming the new standard but that remains to be seen?
Now let me tie in one other factor that will lead to Bible prophecy being fulfilled. Daniel and Jesus both show us that the last world empire to rule during the time of the end will be a revived Roman Empire not the United States. America is not mentioned anywhere as a power in the last days and now we can see why? It appears the once mighty nation must have fallen away as a powerful nation to give rise to the Antichrist kingdom which as I said, will be the revived Roman Empire. Ask anyone who teaches the US is the revived Roman Empire to show you anywhere in the book of Daniel where the US was an empire? In order to be a revived Roman Empire that empire would have to first lived once before but, anyone in their right mind who knows history knows this is not the case with the US. One last thing on this issue. If you are in your right mind, you will know that at no time in history was the United States ever a world empire! Daniel makes it very clear that the last world empire will rise from the old Roman Empire.
If you look out to the future knowing prophecy you can see why gold prices will go up, you will see why America has to move out of the way as the leading world power, and you will look for a new global economic system to form that will not be based on the US dollar.
In closing let us turn our attention to the EU, (European Union). Why? Because we know for sure the nations in this union are the same nations that were in the first Roman Empire. We know for sure that this is the revived Western leg of the old Roman Empire. We also know from Daniel chapter two that God warned us this revived Roman Empire would be partly strong and partly weak and would not hold together. We also know from Jesus in the Book of Revelation that the final outcome of this revived Roman Empire will be that 10 kings, which are leaders of 10 nations will hand over all their power over to the Antichrist and he will rule this last world empire. At the present time the EU is already showing us signs of Daniel's warning about this kingdom for the EU like the US is fighting to stay a float and, there is talk that the union may break up into smaller parts. Based on what Jesus and Daniel showed us I believe one of these smaller parts will end up being 10 nations. I do know this, Jesus gave us a command and that command was to keep on the watch. Jesus warned us about the future events because He wanted His children to understand the signs of the times and to stay ready to meet Him when He called His children home. Watch with me as we watch and see exactly how these end times events will unfold. If we are on the watch nothing will come to you as a suprise this is a promise from Christ via the Apostle Paul.

The Last Chronicles of Planet Earth Ministry has teamed up with Timothy Moore of Ascent Ministry to help spread the good news of the Lord Jesus in Africa. We are blessed to report to you that we are now again in the process of building a brand new church at Mt. Elgon of which Pastor Titus and his team just returned from a Last Chronicles mission trip. "Attached are photos of Pastor Titus and Pastor Enock K. with the seller of the plot in Mt. Elgon measuring and surveying the plot and signing the land contract which was agreed to by the chiefs and elders .(We had to pay them some money too so they would agree!) The deed will be executed and filed later when all sums are paid. We were able to purchase two 50 x 100 plots together so the seller carried the balance at about $125. per month for 6 months. Tim"

Prophecy Sign: Daniel 12:4 shows us our generation would be the one known for our increase in knowledge. Take a look at what is coming? I quote: " As technology continues to advance at an exponential rate, will we someday find ourselves living in a “scientific dictatorship” where virtually everything that we do, say and think is monitored and controlled by technology? To many of you that may sound like a wild assertion, but just keep reading. Our world is changing faster than ever before, and scientists have some absolutely wild things planned for our future. As you read this, they are feverishly developing edible microchips, cutting edge biometric identity systems, and mind reading computers. Many futurists envision a world where someday nearly all humans are embedded with microchips and have thousands of tiny nanobots living inside of them. The idea is that we can “take control of our own evolution” and use technology to “improve” humanity. But very few of those futurists address the potential downsides. The truth is that all of this technology could one day be used by a totalitarian government to establish a dystopian nightmare where nobody has any liberties and freedoms whatsoever."
"Overprotective. Shallow. Repressive. These are all words some Christian youth have used to describe their faith experience. That perception undoubtedly explains why recent studies show more than half of all Christian teens and 20-somethings are distancing themselves from today's Church. The Barna group, a nonpartisan research company, has found that almost 60 percent of young people ages 15-29 have left active involvement."
USA a declining nation under God? There is no question the good old USA and Jesus Christ have fallen under attack by the hand of Satan over this past 10 years. Satan has turned what was once a strong nation under God to one in which people are turning from the Lord, and listening to watered down messages to appease the people in the pews. I have found out that most Pastors in the States won't even teach on Bible prophecy or, keep their flocks uninformed on the last days events. Americans have been sleep walking if they think hard times won't come upon them as happened in Egypt, the EU, Africa or any of the other nations who are facing a massive debt problem which has caused massive social troubles. At the present time I have the feeling that the youth in America don't feel they need Christ because they have just about everything they need. They got their filthy music, their Satan games, and most of their stomachs are full so they are without want. However, things are changing and hard times are getting ready to crush the American market place. After all, a debt of over 16 trillion dollars is already showing signs of a collapse soon. Then what? When things get real bad what do people do? They usually turn to God for help. I am sure this is what will be happening to much of the American Church and the American youth. Take a look at Egypt. Now here is a prime example of what I am talking about. Since Jan. of 2012 Egypt has been in turmoil. During this time of turmoil the Lord's Church has fallen under attack and many Egyptian Christians have been killed by those of the Muslim faith. Maybe it is a good idea that the entire US Church take an example from the Egyptian Christians shown in the video below! Jesus is very much on the minds and hearts of those believers in Egypt.
Matthew 24:7 (Earthquakes)
TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — An earthquake of moderate strength caused damage and injured 100 people in the city of Neyshabour in the northeast part of Iran Thursday afternoon, Iran's state TV reported.The TV report said 17 of the injured were hospitalized and the others were treated for minor injuries and released.As the quake rumbled through the area, many residents of the city fled their homes into the streets. Rescue teams were still at work in the area late Thursday.The magnitude 5.5 quake shattered windows and affected communications for a short time.It also destroyed walls of homes in some rural areas, the report said.Residents of several cities and towns 60 miles (100 kilometers) from the epicenter reported feeling the quake.
Prophecy Sign: In the Book of Matthew chapter 24 Jesus warned to watch out for false prophets. In the Old Testament in the Book of Deuteronomy 18:1-8 the Lord instructs how to disearn who is a false prophet. We know the Word of God does not change and since Jesus told us to look for false prophets in the last days you can use Deuteronomy as your guide to know who is and who is not a true prophet of the Lord.
It is easy to see that this paragraph I present to you instructs the Israelites about their responsibilities to the Levites. The question is, “What does this have to do with the rest of the chapter, which deals with sources of prophetic revelation, true and false?” Several things point us in the right direction. The first is that we know what the rest of the chapter is about—sources of “divine revelation.” Twice in verses 1-8, we find the expression, “in the name of the Lord” (verses 5, 7). In verses 9-14, we do not find the expression because these forbidden folks do not speak “in the name of the Lord.” Indeed, they are “an abomination to the Lord” (verse 12). In verses 15-19, we have the expression, “the voice of the Lord” (verse 16), and the reference to the Ultimate Prophet who “speaks in My name” (verse 19). The false prophet may either “speak in the name of other gods” (verse 20), or he may presumptuously “speak in the name of the Lord” (verse 22). I believe we can safely conclude that all of Deuteronomy 18 deals with those who “speak for the Lord,” both the false and the true.
Why am I telling you this? The following warning was posted at “Before the End Ministries” of a possible mega-earthquake occuring this week (the week of January 16th). The warning was evidently written on a piece of paper. You will learn all about it if you click to the link below. There are two men who are supposed to be prophets, First there is Prophet David Owuor. He has warned that the Dominican Republic is going to have a mega earthquake. Also see a similar prophecy made by Prophet Tony Pim. When you read the report you will see Tony said there would be a 5.0 quake that would come first. This is what you will read at the prophecy site, "Please Note: The “warning” suggests that a ~5.0 earthquake will occur in the Dominican Republic PRIOR to the 12+ mega-quake and tsunami. A 5.0 earthquake occured this morning in the Dominican Republic as shown in the graphic above..
As you can see so far what he has stated has come true so I suggest you read the report then watch the video and then keep an eye open to see what happens? If what he says as coming form the Lord God happens just as he has said then you know for sure he really is a Prophet of the Lord. If everything David Owuor, or Tony says doesn't come to pass than they are a false prophet. I judge not but, I let the Word of God be our judge in such matters as this. I must admit, we did see a 5.0 quake as stated, doesn't this cause you to wonder if we have a real Word from the Lord. Do what Jesus said, keep on the watch!
Prophecy Sign: Jesus warned us Christian persecution would come in the last days. You can read about this in Matthew 24:9 and Revelation 6:9. Here is one example of this persecution. The warning in a Jan. 3 letter to church leaders of the Sudan Presbyterian Evangelical Church (SPEC) arrived a few days after Sudan President Omar al-Bashir told cheering crowds on Jan. 3 that, following the secession of largely non-Islamic south Sudan last July, the country’s constitution will be more deeply entrenched in sharia (Islamic law). “We will take legal procedures against pastors who are involved in preaching or evangelistic activities,” Hamid Yousif Adam, undersecretary of the Ministry of Guidance and Religious Endowment, wrote to the church leaders. “We have all legal rights to take them to court.” Sources said the order was aimed at oppressing Christians amid growing hostilities toward Christianity.“This is a critical situation faced by our church in Sudan,” said the Rev. Yousif Matar, secretary general of the SPEC. Another church leader said the order was another in a series of measures by the government to control churches

Over the past several months a whole host of videos from around the world claiming to capture strange unexplained other worldly sounds from all over the world have cropped up on the internet. Barcelona, Czech Republic, Mexico, Chile, France, Canada, Russia, Australia, you name it. The sounds that started this HOAX come from the movie "Red State". If it happens this way then the Lord's warning concerning the 10 kings giving all their power over to the Antichrist will come into focus. “WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The Treasury on Tuesday started dipping into federal pension funds in order to give the Obama administration more credit to pay government bills. "I will be unable to invest fully" the federal employees retirement system fund beginning Tuesday, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said in a letter to Democratic and Republican leaders in Congress. The House of Representatives is expected to vote on Wednesday on the Obama administration's request to raise the country's legal debt limit to $16.394 trillion.”
Jan. 12 (Bloomberg) -- Banks may seize more than 1 million U.S. homes this year after legal scrutiny of their foreclosure practices slowed actions against delinquent property owners in 2011, RealtyTrac Inc. said. About 1.89 million properties received notices of default, auction or repossession last year, down 34 percent from 2010 and the lowest number since 2007, the Irvine, California-based data seller said today in a statement. One in 69 U.S. households received a filing. While the seizure process has been “highly dysfunctional,” there were “strong signs in the second half of 2011 that lenders are finally beginning to push through some of the delayed foreclosures in select local markets,” RealtyTrac Chief Executive Officer Brandon Moore said in the statement. The number of home repossessions is likely to rise about 25 percent from the more than 804,000 properties seized last year as lenders resume foreclosure actions, Daren Blomquist, a spokesman for RealtyTrac, said in a telephone interview. Settlement talks are continuing with state attorneys general over documentation flaws, known as “robo-signing,” that surfaced in October 2010. About 400,000 additional homes would have been repossessed without the slowdown, Blomquist said. The ramp-up in foreclosure proceedings that began in 2011’s second half is likely to continue this year, Moore said in the statement. Foreclosure filings totaled almost 2.7 million last year as some properties got multiple notices, RealtyTrac said.
Rating agency Fitch said on Tuesday that Greece would default on its debt, although it said that such a default was likely to take place in an orderly manner. "It is going to happen. Greece is insolvent so it will default," Edward Parker, Managing Director for Fitch's Sovereign and Supranational Group in Europe, the Middle East and Africa told Reuters on the sidelines of a conference in the Swedish capital. "So in that sense it shouldn't be a surprise to anyone." The Fitch comments come after Moritz Kraemer, head of Standard & Poor's rating agency's European sovereign ratings unit, said on Monday Greece would default shortly on its debt obligations. While the U.S. has long believed Iran is helping drive the deadly crackdown on dissent in Syria, the official says the visit by Quds Force Commander Ghassem Soleimani provides a concrete example of direct high-level cooperation between Iran and Syria. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because this person was not authorized to speak publicly. The administration's assertion comes amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran. Under the threat of increased U.S. sanctions, Iran has said it could block the strategic Strait of Hormuz; the Obama administration says it has warned Iran against taking such actions.”

Taifour, who rejected negotiation with the Iranian businessmen citing Iran’s support of the Syrian regime, said their deal offer started first with giving the Islamist group four ministerial positions and ended with giving them the entire government, as long as Assad kept his leadership position.”

“More than half the world's orange juice comes from Brazil”
“The price of orange juice on the global markets has hit a record high, after surging over the past few days. Traders say the main reasons are safety concerns about juice from Brazil, the world's largest producer of orange juice, and cold weather in Florida. The US Food and Drug Administration said carbendazim, a fungicide, has been found in shipments from Brazil. Orange juice has risen by about 25% since the beginning of the year, to $2.12 a pound. Carbendazim is banned in the US, but is used legally in Brazil to treat black spot, a type of mould that grows on trees.”

Changes in bird stopover time in Southeast Asia during La Niña (more time in residence to mix with local population)
Changes in bird species composition in Southeast Asia during La Niña caused by migration changes that bring new virus segments to the region (testable by both bird species composition and virus diversity in bird-exploited waters)
Changes in water habitat type and abundance in Southeast Asia during La Niña that facilitate fecal–oral avian and swine infections, multiple infections, and reassortments
It’s an interesting theory. Any signals that scientists can identify that might herald the onset of a pandemic influenza would doubtless help public officials better prepare for these events.

“Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all” (Luke 17:28-29).
In the beginning of 2012, under Stephen Harper, the Prime Minister of Canada, look what his government has done? “The Harper government will change the law to legally recognize the marriages of thousands of foreign gay couples, even if the laws of their home country do not. The legislative change will apply to all marriages performed in Canada regardless of the laws of the jurisdiction in which the couple live, Justice Minister Rob Nicholson announced Friday. “I want to make it very clear that, in our government’s view, these marriages should be valid,” Nicholson said at a news conference in Toronto. “We will change the Civil Marriage Act so that any marriages performed in Canada that aren’t recognized in the couple’s home jurisdiction will be recognized in Canada” (National Post Jan. 13, 2012). Here is the bottom line. Our society is turning into exactly what Jesus said it would in the last days. Nation after nation is putting on the same clock as was seen in the generation of Sodom and Gomorra. If you are gay, please listen to me. I am not saying we should hunt you down and force you to change. It is in the Lord’s heart that you should come to Him and repent of this type of sin so you can be saved. Jesus loves you and wants you in His Kingdom, but God cannot allow the unsaved to enter His Kingdom. I know these are hard words, but it is truth. If you are gay, I am asking you to consider what I am saying in love. Jesus will return soon, and we all will be judged for what we do. I do not want to see anyone left behind when the Lord removes His church, and that includes you. However, if you refuse to listen to Christ and go your own way, then you will find yourself in the midst of the seven year tribulation. Anyone who knows what will take place during this tribulation would be crazy not to receive Jesus as his or her Lord and Savior. Seeing this major prophecy sign, we know we have entered into the final days prior to the return of Christ. Jesus in Matthew 24:34 told us bluntly that our generation would not pass away until all these things be fulfilled. Hear the Word of the Lord, “I am coming quickly.” I pray you will join me in saying, “Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”

UN aid chief in Somalia, Mark Bowden, told the BBC malnutrition rates there were the highest in the world. He said a quarter of a million Somalis were still suffering from the famine. "We know that tens of thousands of people will have died over the last year," Mr Bowden, said, describing the rates of malnutrition as "amazingly high". "Children will have suffered the most, malnutrition rates in Somalia were the highest in the world, and I think the highest recorded... up to 50% of the child population suffered from severe or acute malnutrition."
“EPORTING FROM MEXICO CITY -- Mexico's Tarahumara Indians, legendary for their endurance in long-distance running, are reeling from a devastating food shortage caused by a record freeze and long drought, officials say. The Mexican Red Cross and regional and federal government agencies mobilized Monday to send emergency supplies to the mountains in the northern state of Chihuahua, where the Tarahumara live, usually in rudimentary conditions. Part of the outpouring of help came after reports circulated of the mass suicide of 50 or more members of the community, desperate and despondent over not being able to feed their families. The reports of suicide were quickly denied by state government officials (link in Spanish). But the hunger is real. Even in the best of times, the Tarahumara live on the sustenance farming of corn and beans. Parts of Chihuahua, however, have endured for months the most severe drought in 70 years and, more recently, a hard freeze.”

“Up to 30 dolphins beach on Cape Cod, 10 to 12 dead”
“Concern over drug-resistant strains of TB is growing, with similar 'incurable' TB emerging in Italy and Iran. Doctors in Mumbai said 12 patients had a "totally drug resistant" form of the infection, and three have died. The Indian Health Ministry is investigating the cases and has sent a team of doctors to Mumbai. TB is one of the world's biggest killers, second only to HIV among infectious diseases. Normally a patient with TB is given a six to nine month course of antibiotics to eradicate it. However, new strains of the bacterium have developed which are increasingly resistant to the antibiotics most commonly used to treat it. Partially drug-resistant TB can now found in countries across the world, and "multi-drug resistant" strains affect countries such as Russia and China.”

Israeli is facing a growing security threat to its south because of the changes brought on by the Arab Spring which is not likely to disappear any time soon, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday. "The security problem which is developing as a result of changes in the Middle East is getting worse, and is expected to continue for years," Netanyahu told MPs at the parliamentary committee on foreign affairs and defence, in remarks communicated by a spokesman. "The state of Israel is required to strengthen its defence and attack capabilities immediately, which costs a lot of money," he said. "Libyan arms continue to flow into Gaza through Sinai," he said, indicating that there were "more than 10,000 missiles" in the coastal enclave, some of which had a range "surpassing 40 kilometres (24 miles)." The ongoing reconciliation process between Fatah and Hamas would force Israel to demand that Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip would be under similar terms as Fatah-controlled West Bank, Netanyahu said. "Fatah-Hamas unity would force us to demand that the Gaza Strip be demilitarised," he said. He accused Iran of using the Egyptian Sinai as a staging area for launching attacks on Israel."
