Headline: Conflicting reports over rocket strikes in Gaza
Sirens sounded in the Gaza Belt and Eshkol Regional council areas Wednesday night, shortly before 8:30 pm. Residents told Channel 2 that they heard explosions. After a short search by IDF sources in the area, two hits were confirmed, in open fields between two Gaza Belt communities, Channel 2 reported. But half an hour later, the IDF stated that there were no hits, and that the siren was a “false alarm.” This is the latest in a spate of rocket and mortar attacks on Israel over the past month. Two weeks ago, Hamas terrorists lobbed rockets at Israeli civilians no fewer thaneleven times in a three-day period. May 18, 2016
Headline: Abbas welcomes Egyptian president’s peace push
Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas on Tuesday welcomed Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sissi’s bid for new peace talks, while the Hamas terror group hailed his call for internal Palestinian reconciliation. In a rare direct appeal to Palestinians and Israelis, Sissi had urged the two peoples to draw hope from the “real and stable peace” between Israel and Egypt. In a live televised statement, Sissi said he saw a “real opportunity” for an Israeli-Palestinian peace settlement that would also lead to warmer ties between Egypt and the Jewish state. In response, Abbas praised “Egypt’s historic role in supporting Palestinian affairs,” the Hebrew-language Walla news site reported. ***See also Egypt below May 18, 2016
“Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God! 2 For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head. 3 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people, And consulted together against Your sheltered ones. 4 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” (Psalm 83)

Headline: Lebanese central bank prepares to close Hizballah accounts
Following the US imposition of economic sanctions on Hizballah, the central bank of Lebanon is preparing to comply with a US finance law and close accounts linked to the organization. Central bank governor Riad Salameh issued a statement in which he ordered banks subordinate to him “to consult with the central bank in Beirut before closing accounts suspected of being ones violating the American sanctions on the organization.” He said “The U.S. law has to be implemented worldwide and in Lebanon”, adding that “It is not possible to guarantee credit stability if (the central bank) does not implement the U.S. law.” May 18, 2016
Headline: U.S. Senate passes bill allowing September 11 victims to sue Saudi Arabia
The U.S. Senate passed legislation on Tuesday that would allow victims of the Sept. 11 attacks to file lawsuits seeking damages from Saudi Arabia, setting up a potential showdown with the White House, which has threatened a veto. The Saudis, who deny responsibility for the 2001 attacks, strongly object to the bill and have threatened to sell up to $750 billion in U.S. securities and other American assets in retaliation if it becomes law. The “Justice Against Sponsors of Terrorism Act,” or JASTA, passed the Senate by unanimous voice vote. It must next be taken up by the U.S. House of Representatives, where no vote has yet been scheduled. If it became law, JASTA would remove the sovereign immunity, preventing lawsuits against governments, for countries found to be involved in terrorist attacks on U.S. soil. It would allow survivors of the attacks, and relatives of those killed in the attacks, to seek damages from other countries. In this case, it would allow lawsuits to proceed in federal court in New York as lawyers try to prove that the Saudis were involved in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Democratic Senator Charles Schumer of New York, a co-sponsor, said the bill is overdue and that, because it only applies to attacks on U.S. soil, does not risk lawsuits against the United States. “Today the Senate has spoken loudly and unanimously that the families of victims of terrorist attacks should be able to hold the perpetrators, even if it’s a country, a nation, accountable,” Schumer told a news conference. Headline: Yemen conflict: Houthis ‘carry out wave of detentions’
Headline: Yemen govt suspends participation in peace talks
Headline: Yemen’s south to announce independence on Saturday
Houthi rebels in Yemen have carried out a wave of arrests of their opponents, seizing them at gunpoint and torturing some, Amnesty International says. An examination of 60 cases revealed a pattern of arbitrary arrests and enforced disappearances, according to a new report by the human rights group. Politicians, journalists, academics and activists have been among those held. Amnesty’s report documented what it described as a “chilling campaign to quash dissent” in areas of Yemen under the control of the Houthis and allied security forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh since December 2014. Those held had frequently been tortured and denied access to a lawyer or their family, with some detentions lasting for up to 18 months, it said. Many had been kept in secret, makeshift detention centres, including private homes, and then transferred multiple times between locations, it added. In the vast majority of cases no reason for arrests were given. May 18, 2016
Headline: Senior Hamas official accuses Fatah of plotting to kill Egypt’s Sisi
A Gazan terror cell forged by Tawfik Tirawi, a senior Fatah official and the former head of the Palestinian Authority General Intelligence Services, was plotting to assassinate Egypt’s President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, a senior Hamas official has claimed. In a press statement on Monday, Hamas representative Salah al-Bardawil said that the recently-arrested members of the alleged Fatah terror cell provided Hamas with information and documents that indicate that they had planned to assassinate Sisi and other senior Egyptian officials. According to Bardawil, the terrorist cell conspired to put the blame for Sisi’s assassination on Hamas, thereby wreaking havoc on Hamas’s relations with Egypt, which have recently grown warmer. “We will convey these documents to Egypt and to other regional parties to show them the grave conspiracy created by Tirawi,” Bardawil stated, adding that Hamas will not allow anyone to damage Egypt’s national security. Syria Headline: Exclusive: US warplanes intervene in Syrian war
On Tuesday, May 17, the US expanded its involvement in the war in Syria, and for the first time since the war began in 2011, US F-16 fighter-bombers bombed radical Syrian rebels fighting Iranian, Syrian and Hizballah forces near Aleppo, debkafile’s military and intelligence sources say in an exclusive report. According to the sources, the targets were mainly troops, positions, and transportation routes of rebel groups such as ISIS and the Nusra Front that also threaten moderate Syrian rebel groups in the area. But there is no doubt that the American airstrikes will help Syrian President Bashar Assad, just like the Russian bombings have done. The US warplanes took off from Incirlik airbase in southern Turkey and entered Syrian airspace over Idlib province in northern Syria. Our sources said that the airstrikes were coordinated with the Russian air force command at Hmeymim airbase next to Latakia, and via American and Russian officers operating from the Jordanian capital Amman. There is no doubt that the intervention was a turnaround by the administration of President Barack Obama that until now had opposed any US air force operation inside Syria due to concern over tipping the balance in favor of one of the warring sides. There are now no less than ten air forces engaged in the Syrian war: those of the US, Russia, Israel, Britain, France, Belgium, Germany, Syria, Turkey and Jordan. Last week, ahead of the US air force’s entry, the Pentagon reinforced the American special forces troops at Remalan airbase, located in northern Syria next to the Kurdish city of Hassakeh.Obama previously announced that 250 troops had been deployed to reinforce the 50 already on the ground. But debkafile’s military sources report that the actual number of US soldiers at the base is much higher, and that the troops have attack and transport helicopters that can deliver them within a short period of time to any of the fronts in Syria. The US air force attacks on the Aleppo and Idlib fronts are expected to continue in the coming days. May 17, 2016
Syria Headline: Activists: Airstrike in central Syria kills at least 12 people
Two opposition activist groups are reporting that an air raid on a central Syrian town has killed at least 12 people, including children. The Local Coordination Committees said Wednesday’s air raid on the town of Rastankilled 12 people, while the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that 13 were killed, including a family of parents, their two sons and four daughters. An amateur video posted by activists online showed several bodies, including those of three children, placed on the floor and covered with a sheet. The video appeared genuine and corresponded to other Associated Press reporting of the events. May 18, 2016
Syria Headline: Syrian army exposes rebels’ supply lines between Latakia, Idlib
The Syrian government forces have advanced in the mountains of the northwestern province of Latakia, exposing supply lines connecting Latakia with the rebel-held nearby Idlib province, a monitor group reported. The Syrian army advanced on Wednesday in northern Latakia, capturing the key hilltop of Hidadeh, near the administrative borders of Idlib, large swathes of which have fallen to the al-Qaida-linked Nusra Front and the so-called Conquer Army. By capturing Hidadeh, the Syrian army has exposed the roads connecting the al-Akrad Mountains in Latakia with the Jisr al-Shughour area in Idlib.
Meanwhile, battles continued between the Syrian army and the IS militants in the al-Shaer gas field in the eastern countryside of the central province of Homs, reports said. The Syrian army is fighting hard to recapture the field, which has fallen to the IS, when its militants unleashed a wide-scale offensive earlier this week in their quest to control gas and oil fields in Syria. The Syrian forces’ push toward the gas field was taking place on Wednesday under Russian air cover amid reports that the military forces are working to cut the IS supply lines east of the field. Iraqi Headline: Bombs hit markets in Baghdad, killing at least 36
Iraqi Headline: ISIS’s Explosive Attacks in the Greater Baghdad Area: April 4-May 11, 2016
A wave of bombings struck outdoor markets in Shiite-dominated neighborhoods of Baghdad on Tuesday, killing at least 69 people, officials said — the latest in deadly militant attacks far from the front lines in the country’s north and west where Iraqi forces are battling the Daesh group. No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, though it bore the hallmarks of the extremist Daesh group, which has been behind recent deadly attacks in the Iraqi capital and beyond. Since its blitz in the summer of 2014, Daesh has controlled significant areas in northern and western Iraq, including the country’s second-largest city of Mosul. Scores have also been wounded in the wave of attacks. The death toll rose after a bombing in the northeastern Baghdad neighborhood of Habibiyah killed nine people and wounded 18 early on Tuesday afternoon. Police officials say the attack targeted a restaurant. In the largest attack of the day, a car bomb struck a crowded market in Baghdad’s northeastern Shaab neighborhood, killing 34 people there and wounded 75. Elsewhere in the Iraqi capital, at least 26 were killed. The deadliest bombing on Tuesday took place in Baghdad’s northeastern Shaab neighborhood, where at least 28 people died and 65 others were wounded. Iraqi Headline: Iraqi forces report recapturing city in western Anbar
The Iraqi military has claimed that it, along with “tribal forces,” have recaptured the western city of Ar Rutbah. Rutbah sits within the desert and has long been an Islamic State stronghold. After officially launching the operation yesterday, the military has reported its forces have entered the city and “liberated the city’s northern entrance.” Reuters has also reported that the military was able to penetrate the city from the south and take control of a district. The wire news service also quoteed an Iraqi military official as saying, “We expect we will be able to reach the center of Rutbah tomorrow morning.” The official says that the military “faced little resistance” in the town, but the Islamic State has claimed otherwise. The Islamic State, via its Amaq News Agency, claims to have utilized two suicide bombers in recent days on Iraqi troops near Rutbah. The Iraqi military said that Sunni tribal fighters have assisted in the effort to recapture the town. According to Ahl al Bayt News Agency, a Shia news site, the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU’s) are also involved. However, as of publishing, it is unclear if the PMU forces taking part are Sunni units or the larger Shia militias which dominate the force. In the last four days, the US has launched at least six airstrikes against Islamic State positions in or near Rutbah. On May 14, US CENTCOM reported that “four strikes struck an ISIL [an acronym for the Islamic State] tactical unit, an ISIL headquarters, an ISIL vehicle borne improvised explosive device (VBIED or suicide car bomb) facility, and an ISIL staging facility.” In the last two days, two airstrikes hit 10 fighting positions and another VBIED. Kurdish Headline: Kurds clash with regime troops in Hasakeh
Fighting has erupted between Kurdish security forces and pro-regime troops in the city of Hasakeh, where both sides maintain an uneasy power-sharing agreement. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported Wednesday morning that “heavy gunfire was heard” in the provincial capital as Kurdish Asayesh internal security members battled regime troops and loyalist militias. Local activists told the NGO tracking developments in war-torn Syria that “explosions were heard reverberating in the city” amid confirmed reports of injuries among the ranks of both sides. Meanwhile, the ANHA news agency, which is close to Syria’s Kurdish fighting forces, reported that “Syrian regime troops attacked an Asayesh checkpoint and civilians in Qamishli Street in the Hasakeh city center at 9:00 a.m.” One civilian was “shot in the chest” amid the clashes, the outlet added, without mentioning any other casualties. An Asayesh official told the outlet that “our forces… were able to repel the attack, and brought the situation under control.” He added that initial reports indicate that five pro-regime fighters were killed in the fighting, while dozens others were injured. Kurdish Headline: Turkey hit Kurdish city with internationally-banned Phosphorus bombs: activists
The Turkish army forces have reportedly used the internationally-banned Phosphorus bombs in its military campaign on the Kurdish city of Nusaybin, southeast Turkey, activists and eyewitnesses reported on Tuesday. This comes amid continuous military operations by the Turkish troops against the Kurdish city of Nusaybin, that have not stopped since 14 March. Medical sources in the war-torn city confirmed the army’s use of Phosphorus bombs against civilians. Nusaybin has been exposed to daily bombardment by the Turkish military for the past two months, using heavy artillery and tanks in its operations, where hundreds of houses have been burned and destroyed, amid the displacement of thousands of Kurdish civilians from their hometown. According to reports, many civilians are still stranded in war-torn neighbourhoods of Nusaybin. Speaking to ARA News, media activists Akram Baraka reported that the Turkish army used Phosphorus bombs in its attack on Nusaybin on Tuesday. “After launching the bombs, we saw white smoke followed by increasingly black smoke and then the targeted buildings were exposed to huge fires,” he said. Headline: Turkish warplanes hit PKK targets in Turkey, Iraq
Turkish warplanes hit Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) targets in southeast Turkey and northern Iraq, killing at least ten fighters, security sources said on Wednesday. The military has been carrying out regular air strikes against positions of the outlawed group in the mountainous regions of northern Iraq, where it has camps near the Turkish border, after the collapse of ceasefire last year. Meanwhile, four Turkish soldiers were killed and nine others were wounded on Wednesday in an attack on a military convoy blamed on PKK militants, the army said. The military convoy was travelling on the road between Semdinli and Aktutun in the southeastern Hakkari province when it was hit by the roadside bomb left by the “separatist terror group,” the army said, using its customary phrase for the PKK. The nine injured soldiers were taken to hospital, four of them in serious condition. May 18, 2016
Headline: Texas to ignore Iran nuclear deal and maintain sanctions, governor says
Headline: Iran wants U.S. to pay for 63 years of ‘spiritual and material damage’
Texas will not lift its sanctions on Iran and will take no part in the Obama administration’s nuclear deal with the Islamic republic, which has made the world a “more dangerous and compromised” place, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott told Jewish media at a meeting in New York on Monday afternoon. The governor formally responded on Monday to a letter by President Barack Obama on April 8 requesting that Texas “review” its economic sanctions against Iran as part of the deal concluded last year. In his response to the president, Abbott wrote: “Because the Iran deal is fundamentally flawed and does not permanently dismantle Iran’s nuclear capability, Texas will maintain its sanctions against Iran. “Further, because your administration has recklessly and unilaterally removed critical sanctions, I have called on the Texas Legislature to strengthen the Iran sanctions that Texas already has in place,” he added. Headline: Afghanistan signs draft accord with militant leader
Afghanistan signed a draft agreement with the Hezb-e-Islami militant group on Wednesday in a move the government hopes could lead to a full peace accord with one of the most notorious warlords in the insurgency. Hezb-e-Islami leader Gulbuddin Hekmatyar is a veteran of decades of Afghan war and rights groups have accused his group of widespread abuses, particularly during the civil war of the early 1990s, when he briefly served as prime minister. The United States has also linked the group to al Qaeda and the Taliban and put Hekmatyar on its designated terrorist list. Hezb-e-Islami has played only a minor role in the Taliban-led insurgency in recent years and the deal is unlikely to have any immediate practical impact on security. But with little sign that the Taliban are ready to join peace talks, the deal offers President Ashraf Ghani’s government a concrete sign that it is making headway in drawing insurgent groups away from the battlefield and into the political process. Mohammad Khan, deputy to government Chief Executive Abdullah, said the draft accord was a positive step but more work would be needed for a final deal. “We are optimistic about this agreement and we strongly support it,” he told reporters in Kabul before the accord was signed by a delegation from Hekmatyar’s party and officials from Afghanistan’s High Peace Council. But he added: “This doesn’t mean it’s finalised.” May 18, 2016

Headline: With U.S. Troops Already in Libya, U.S. Now Supports Arming the Fledgling Government
Headline: Libyan forces retake checkpoint south of Misrata
A leading international rights group on Wednesday released a report documenting atrocities by Libya’s Islamic State affiliate — including instances of “crucifixions” and shooting a man to death for “cursing God” — in the coastal city of Sirte, a stronghold of the militants. Human Rights Watch recounts “scenes of horror” that followed the city’s seizure by ISIS militants in February 2015, with beheadings of dozens of residents accused of being spies or sorcerers. Men were flogged for acts such as smoking or listening to music, and fathers were ordered to “marry off their daughters” to the group’s fighters as ISIS spread a wave of terror among the townspeople. The 41-page HRW report entitled “‘We Feel We Are Cursed’: Life under ISIS in Sirte, Libya,” is based on interviews with 45 Sirte residents conducted by the New York-based group in March. The residents were among the two thirds of the city’s 80,000-strong population that fled after Islamic State overran Sirte. May 18, 2016
Luke 21:9 and Matthew 24:7 speak ofnation against nation and kingdom against kingdom in the end times. Revelation 6:3-4 speaks of the fiery red horse given power to make men slay one another and Revelation 6:8 speaks again of this red horse in conjunction with the pale horse of Death and Hades, as the one that has the power to kill by sword. Luke 21:9: wars & commotions; the Greek word here is Akatastasia, meaning instability, a state of disorder, disturbance, confusion (revolutions) Matthew 24:7: the Greek word for nation is Ethnos & refers to various ethnic groups fighting among themselves, where the next sentence in the verse refers to kingdoms (basileiva) fighting one another (not to be confused with an actual kingdom but rather the right or authority to rule over a kingdom)
Headline: Venezuelan opposition protesters tear gassed, blocked by national guard
The Venezuelan opposition was quickly greeted with obstruction and tear gas on Wednesday after launching a march in Caracas over a referendum seeking to oust President Nicolas Maduro. The march was scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. local time in Caracas’ Venezuela Plaza and within half an hour there were widespread reports of security officials, mainly the Venezuelan National Guard, using tear gas against demonstrators and obstructing protesters’ paths. Several marches were held nationwide aimed to descend on the regional headquarters of Venezuela’s National Electoral Council, or CNE. “CNE rectors, high military commanders and government officials: Do not be complicit in human rights violations that Maduro advances to cling to power,” opposition leader and National Assembly member Freddy Guevara said in a statement. Meanwhile, under the state of emergency imposed by President Nicolas Maduro, the military, along with government-organized civilian committees, ensures that food packets are delivered door-to-door in order to — as officials say — cut out black market operators.Haydee Teran, a 48-year-old housewife who had been lining up for hours at the supermarket hoping to buy some scarce essentials, said Guarenas officials ordered that half of the food deliveries heading to shops and markets be instead diverted for local distribution. Headline: Two bomb blasts kill policeman in Peshawar, northwest Pakistan
At least one policeman has been killed and 10 others injured in two bomb blasts targeting a police patrol in the troubled city of Peshawar in northwestern Pakistan. The first roadside bomb exploded as a police patrol vehicle was passing in the neighborhood of Aslam Dheri in the southern outskirts of Peshawar, the capital of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province. Twenty minutes later, a second explosion targeted police, rescuers and others who had gathered at the site of the first blast to help the casualties. “A policeman embraced martyrdom and three others were wounded in two bomb blasts,” said senior police official, Sajjad Khan. A hospital official, Zulfiqar Ali Babakhel, also said that one dead and ten injured, including three policemen and seven civilians, were transferred to hospital. He added that a driver of private AAJ television was among the injured, adding that he had come to the site after the first explosion. No group has claimed responsibility for the twin blasts yet but pro-Taliban militants often target military men and civilians. May 18, 2016
Economic collapse Revelation 6:5-6 &Daniel 2:41-43– Decline of the Euro “ When He opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come and see.” So I looked, and behold, a black horse, and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. 6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” (Revelation) “Whereas you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; yet the strength of the iron shall be in it, just as you saw the iron mixed with ceramic clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. As you saw iron mixed with ceramic clay, they will mingle with the seed of men; but they will not adhere to one another, just as iron does not mix with clay.” (Daniel 2:41-43)
Headline: Spain’s debt now worth more than value of the economy
Bank of Spain figures show that the country’s public debt is now worth more than the value of the economy. The bank said Wednesday that Spain’s public debt stockpile stood at 1.09 trillion euros ($1.23 trillion) in the first quarter of the year. That represents 101 percent of the country’s annual GDP — 1.08 trillion euros — in 2015. The government estimates the debt ratio will be 99.1 percent of GDP at the end of 2016. Spain’s public debt has risen consistently since the beginning of the country’s economic crisis in 2008. May 18, 2016

Headline: 22 Percent of Resettled Refugees in Minnesota Test Positive for Tuberculosis
One of every five refugees resettled in Minnesota by the federal government tested positive for latent tuberculosis in 2014, according to the state’s Department of Health. Only 4 percent of the general population in the United States tested positive for latent tuberculosis in the most recent report provided by the Centers for Disease Control. The April 2016 edition of the Refugee Health Quarterly, published by the Minnesota Department of Health reports that: Minnesota had 150 cases of TB in 2015, compared to 147 cases in 2014 (a 2 percent increase). The most common risk factor for TB cases in Minnesota is being from a country where TB is common. TB screening is offered to all refugees during the domestic refugee health exam. In 2014, 22 percent of refugees screened tested positive for LTBI (latent tuberculosis infection). 26 percent of all foreign born cases of tuberculosis in Minnesota were from people born in Somalia. Somalians almost exclusively enter the state through the refugee resettlement program. More than 70,000 refugees have been resettled in the United States annually for the past three decades by the federal government. It’s not just tuberculosis being brought in by these resettled refugees. Measles, whooping cough, diptheria, and other diseases that were on their way to eradication are also coming in across the borders of the United States. May 17, 2016

Headline: Over 200 families feared buried by landslides in Sri Lanka
Massive landslides triggered by torrential rains crashed down onto three villages in the central hills of Sri Lanka, and more than 200 families were missing Wednesday and feared buried under the mud and debris, the Sri Lankan Red Cross said. Sixteen bodies have already been recovered and about 180 people have been rescued from the enormous piles of mud unleashed at around 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to military spokesman Brig. Jayanath Jayaweera. Villagers recalled hearing and seeing the torrents of muddy water, tree branches and debris crashing down around their homes. “I heard a huge sound like a plane crashing into the earth,” said 52-year-old A.G. Kamala, who had just returned to her house in Siripura village when the landslides hit. “I opened my door. I could not believe my eyes, as I saw something like a huge fireball rolling down the mountain and again a huge sound.” More than 300 soldiers were joined by local residents digging through the mud with their hands, sticks and shovels to search for survivors in the farming villages of Siripura, Pallebage and Elagipitya in Kegalle District, about 72 kilometers (45 miles) north of Colombo, Jayaweera said. Heavy fog and continuing rain, along with electricity outages and the instability of the ground, were complicating rescue efforts. Some 220 families were reported missing, the Sri Lankan Red Cross said in a statement. Officials could not give the village populations, but such villages typically include about 1,000-1,500 residents each. As anxious family members waited for news about missing loved ones, officials said the full extent of the tragedy was still unclear. May 18, 2016
Headline: ‘Volcano of Fire’ erupts in Guatemala, prompting evacuations – PHOTOS
A volcanic eruption at Guatemala’s Volcan de Fuego, one of the most active volcanoes in Central America, has sparked the evacuation of the area surrounding the peak. Guatemala’s National Institute for Seismology and Vulcanology are reporting that an ash column reaching 5,500 meters (18,000 feet) above sea level has emerged, while “moderate” lava flow is pouring out of the mountain. “This pyroclastic flow was accompanied by moderate rumble of the volcano [and] fallen ash is reported in the villages of El Rodeo, La Rochelle, Osuna, Panimache, Morelia, Sangre de Cristo and Yepocapa,” a statement by the government agency confirmed. The alert also recommends that people steer clear of the canyon near the volcano. Bombero de Antigua, a disaster relief team in the area, has tweeted that at least one school has been evacuated in the municipality of Alotenango. May 18, 2016

Revelation chapter 13 you will find the Antichrist mark ordered in the last days. Part of the rule of the Antichrist will be to monitor everyone and force them to either take the mark or die. Over the recent years the government has come up with many ways to keep track of the people. In the recent news now we see another way the Gov. is listening in on you and you don’t know they are doing it.

India to ‘divert rivers’ to tackle drought India is set to divert water from its rivers to deal with a severe drought, a senior minister has told the BBC. Water Resources Minister Uma Bharati said transferring water, including from major rivers like the Brahmaputra and the Ganges, to drought-prone areas is now her government’s top priority. At least 330 million people are affected by drought in India.

1 Thessalonians 5:33 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. Are you ready for when the dollar is no longer the world’s leading reserve currency? I want all of you who have money in the banks to say goodbye to it because when the crash takes place maybe the shock of you losing everything won’t hurt as much. How in the world is the Antichrist going to be able to control the world’s economic system unless a correction is made first and the new way of doing business is released. However, it goes down a major correction is on the way. If you have any funds at all buy yourself either gold or silver and take possession of that metal. Whatever you do don’t buy either gold or silver paper. Why? Because more than likely you will never see the metals when you tell whatever company you bought it from that they send you that gold or silver. You see, there simply is not enough gold or silver to send to all the people who bought the metals via paper. Keep in mind also, even if you buy gold or silver it will be a short term help to you because when the Antichrist tells the world to take his mark he will stop everyone from buying or selling which will mean that you won’t be able to buy anything with that gold or silver. The only true investment anyone can make is with Jesus Christ. Christ’s salvation is forever if you ask. If you haven’t ask him yet today is a good day to do it.

Headline: A Palestinian 9-bomb ambush for IDF
The bomb trap which seriously injured an Israeli officer at the Hizmeh checkpoint north of Jerusalem Tuesday night was primed for a multiple terror attack. The trap consisted of four iron pipe bombs stuffed with explosives, screws and sharp nails. Another five explosive devices, some of which were attached to a gas canister, failed to explode because of a technical malfunction and so averted a major disaster. The most likely scenario according to our sources was for the terrorists to spring the bomb trap in two wave: the first four to blow up against the IDF patrol and the rest to hit the responders to the first explosion, including rescue teams, and intelligence and senior officers. The initial conclusion gained by DEBKA counterterrorism from the data available is as follows: 1. This was no lone wolf event. It was a complex operation carried out by a competent team experienced in the building and placement of rigged explosives. Part of the team hid nearby ready to set off the second wave of pipe bombs. The plot was hatched in total secrecy. Neither Israeli intelligence nor the police caught any sign of the planned attack. Had there been any suspicion a bomb squad would have inspected the route taken by the IDF patrol in advance. 2. Although the Israeli military sealed off Judea and Samaria for three days starting Tuesday night the eve of Remembrance Day for the Fallen men and women of IDF – like “other sensitive dates” of the year, Palestinian terrorist were nonetheless able to reach their target. It was only by sheer luck that a major disaster was averted. But one young officer paid the price. Our source reports that this is the first time Palestinian terrorists are known to set up a complicated bomb trap of this kind. It must been assumed that some Palestinian organization received instructions in this skill from Hizballah who practiced it with devastating effect in Lebanon in the late nineties. May 11, 2016
Headline: IDF, Palestinians clash in east Jerusalem leaving two residents hospitalized
Two Palestinian youths were injured Wednesday morning after violently confronting IDF military forces on the outskirts of Jerusalem, according to Palestinian news agency Ma’an. The incident occurred in the Arab village of Kfar Aqab, located near Kalandia refugee camp, where witnesses say IDF troops entered while conducting an investigation. According to Ma’an, Palestinian youths confronted the soldiers upon their entrance. Red Crescent Medical Emergency services said that a Palestinian youth was seriously injured after he was shot in the chest and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, Ma’an added. Another youth allegedly shot in the leg was in moderate condition and was taken to a Ramallah medical facility. In response, an IDF spokesperson said that the circumstances of the incident were currently under investigation and gave a brief description of the events that unfolded. “Israeli military forces entered the town of Kfar Aqab, near Kalandia, where they were confronted by residents of the village. The residents proceeded to throw bottles and blocked roads to traffic. After giving multiple warnings, IDF forces opened fire into the air in order to disperse the crowd.” The IDF said that at least one person was taken to Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem following the incident. Headline: Yemen army to enter Sanaa if talks fail
A suicide bomber rammed a car laden with explosives into a government military convoy traveling in eastern Yemen on Wednesday, killing at least eight people and wounding 17, a security official said. The official said that six soldiers and two civilians died in the attack near the city of Al-Qatan on the convoy of General Abdul-Rahman Al-Halili, head of Yemen’s First Military Region which is loyal to President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.Halili, who was on his way to inspect Yemeni government forces when the attack took place, suffered medium injuries in the attack, the official added. No one claimed responsibility for the attack, but Islamist militants from Al-Qaeda and the Daesh have repeatedly carried out attacks against Yemeni military and security forces in southern and eastern Yemen in recent months. Syria Headline: ISIS seize Syrian army base in Homs
Islamic State militants advanced toward the central Syrian city of Palmyraon Wednesday, threatening to besiege the world-famous ancient site several weeks after the government recaptured it from the extremists. The offensive came as a cease-fire over the northern city of Aleppo ticked down to its final hours, threatening to plunge the divided metropolis back into violence. A rocket attack on a government-held neighborhood late in the afternoon killed at least two people. Media allied with the IS group and other activists said the militants seized a strategically located but deserted rocket-launching site close to an air base less than 60 kilometers (40 miles) from Palmyra. For the government forces, the capture effectively severs a highway linking Palmyra to the government-controlled T-4 air base and the provincial capital Homs, threatening government supply routes. The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and other activists confirmed the reported IS advance. The development comes after intense clashes with government troops near the air base, and a week after the extremist group advanced toward natural gas fields to the north. Al-Bayan radio reported that IS militants took control of the deserted site, seized two government checkpoints guarding the air base and downed a military helicopter to the north of the base. The Observatory also reported the downing of the aircraft but said the fate of its crew remains unclear. May 11, 2016
Iraqi Headline: Scores die as Baghdad hit by three bombings in one day
Islamic State suicide bombers have killed at least 94 people in three attacks on Baghdad on the bloodiest day for terrorism the world, let alone Iraq, has seen this year. The first attack came during the morning, when a jeep packed with explosives exploded near a beauty salon facing on to a market in Sadr City, eastern Baghdad’s sprawling working class suburb almost entirely occupied by Shia Muslims. The blast set nearby shops on fire and left debris including the charred, twisted remains of a vehicle in the street. The death toll from that bombing rose to at least 64 during the course of the day. The authorities said all were civilian and more than 20 were women, despite a claim of responsibility by Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant which said the targets were Shia militia fighters. The claim was carried by Amaq, the main Isil-linked news agency, and said it had been carried out by a suicide bomber it named as “Abu Sulaiman al-Ansari”. During the course of Wednesday afternoon, two more bombs went off, one at the entrance to the northern suburb of Khadimiya, which is largely Shia, and one in a shopping street in the central district of Jamea, named after the Baghdad University which is nearby. At least 30 people were killed in those two attacks, bringing the total for the day to 94. That made Wednesday the worst day this year for terrorism, particularly Isil terrorism, not only in Iraq but around the world. May 11, 2016

Headline: Iran threatens to sink US warships
The Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) threatened to “drown” any US warships approaching Iran, a top general said Tuesday, according to state-controlled media. “We have informed Americans that their presence in the Persian Gulf is an absolute evil,” Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi stated to state media. “Americans are aware that Iran would destroy their warships if they take a wrong measure in the region.” He further threatened that the US would “lose control of everything” by drawing others into Middle-East affairs. “There has never been normal conditions in the Persian Gulf and Americans can feel the presence of IRGC navy forces at any spot,” he added. “Iran’s great power has forced US to consider creation of deterrent capabilities.” Fadavi also boasted that the West remains unaware of Iran’s alleged naval capabilities, including surface-to-air missiles. The threats surface just days after top White House adviser Ben Rhodes revealed the US deliberately misled the American public about the 2015 Iran deal. May 11, 2016
Headline: 10 Civilians Martyred, 23 Injured In Nangarhar Suicide Attack
Fifteen Afghan police were killed in an attack by the Taliban militants on two checkpoints close to Afghanistan’s southern city of Lashkar Gah in Helmand Province Tuesday. A senior security official of Helmand released the number of fatalities, saying, “The situation is very critical near” the city. Speaking on condition of anonymity, the official also called on the Afghan government to act soon, warning that otherwise “there will be a disaster.” The casualties came after Taliban militants overran two checkpoints in the town of Girishk and the district of Nad Ali. Bashir Shaker, a member of the provincial council, said Taliban has recently stepped up its raids against “security belts near Lashkar Gah.” “The threat is becoming bigger minute by minute. If the government does not take action soon, we will witness the collapse of Lashkar Gah,” Shaker stated. May 11, 2016
Headline: Western Libyan forces prepare attack on ISIS stronghold
Forces in western Libya are preparing to advance on the city of Sirte, seized by ISIS last year, their spokesman said, pushing ahead with plans for a counterattack after the Islamists made territorial gains in the last week. The fighters based in the city of Misrata would like international logistical support to help retake what has become ISIS’s most important base outside Syria and Iraq, but will not wait for it before launching the operation, they said. Over the last week it has made gains, carrying out suicide attacks in the sparsely populated area between Sirte and Misrata, including at a major checkpoint at Abu Grain. Gasri confirmed that ISIS took several villages in the area and that the line of defence was now at Assdada, about 80 km south of Misrata. The militants have dug trenches and planted mines around the Abu Grain checkpoint, he said. Thirteen members of the security forces were killed and 110 wounded in last week’s fighting, Gasri said. Headline: Azerbaijan Alleges White-Phosphorus Use in Karabakh Fight
Azerbaijan says Armenian forces have used white phosphorus weapons in the fighting over the Nagorno-Karabakh region and is calling for an international investigation. Fighting escalated sharply last month, killing at least 75 soldiers. It was the worst outbreak of hostilities since a 1994 cease-fire ended a full-scale separatist war. Nagorno-Karabakh is in Azerbaijan, but since 1994 has been under the control of local ethnic Armenian forces and the Armenian military. Foreign Ministry spokesman Hikmet Hajiyev told journalists on Wednesday that Azerbaijan had found a white phosphorus round in a field and it is asking the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe to investigate. White phosphorus artillery can be used as illumination rounds, troop cover or for incendiary purposes. The rounds can cause severe burns and gas poisoning. May 11, 2016

Headline: Yellow fever: World on brink of global emergency over deadly outbreak, academics warn
Urgent action is needed to combat a yellow fever epidemic in Africa amid signs it is turning into a global health emergency and a severe shortage of the vaccine, academics have warned. With nearly a billion people at risk from the deadly disease in Africa and Latin America and the danger of an outbreak in Asia, immunologist Professor Daniel Lucey and Lawrence Gostin, a professor in global health law, called on the World Health Organisation (WHO) to declare an emergency saying delays over Ebola had “cost lives”. And they also said that because of the surge in new infectious diseases in recent years – thought to be driven in part by climate change – the world should now set up a permanent committee to decide how to respond as new threats emerge. Angola is in the grip of its worst yellow fever epidemic since 1986 with more than 250 deaths, and the disease is spreading rapidly – Kenya, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo have all reported cases. Peru has had at least 20 cases and there have also been several in China after people returned from Angola with the disease. May 9, 2016

Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due”(Romans) “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.” ~ Leviticus 20:13 “ But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bou ght them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. 2 And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. 3 By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does not slumber.” (2 Peter 2:1-3)

Headline: Transgenders press VA to cover operations
MPs in Italy have backed a bill introducing civil unions for same-sex couples in a historic move for the country that sees it legally recognise gay couples for the first time. Italy had been the last major Western country not to recognise civil unions for same-sex couples, but the vote on Wednesday means that gay couples will now share some of the legal rights given to heterosexual couples. Prime Minister Matteo Renzi won the confidence vote in the lower house of Parliament on Wednesday and while the bill must now be given formal approval by the lower house in order to become law, this second move is seen as a formality. He had called the confidence vote in order to speed up the legal process and pass the bill, stating that it was “unacceptable to have any more delays after years of failed attempts”. He was confident of gaining a majority ahead of the vote and wrote on Facebook before the result that today is “a day of celebration for those who finally feel recognized”. May 11, 2016

Headline: Man goes on stabbing spree at Mass. mall, home; 2 dead, 4 hurt
A man described by his family as mentally ill fatally stabbed at least two people Tuesday in a bizarre rampage south of Boston that began with a car crash in a residential area and ended when an off-duty officer shot and killed him inside a shopping mall, state police said. The string of assaults began around 7 p.m. when Arthur DaRosa, 28, crashed a car outside a home in Taunton, Mass., then walked inside and stabbed two women, according to a statement by Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III. One of the victims, who was 80, died later at a local hospital. DaRosa then jumped in a car and drove to the Silver City Galleria mall, Quinn said. After crashing the car in front of a Macy’s department store, he went inside and attacked several people before running off to a Bertucci’s restaurant, where he stabbed four more people. One of those victims, a 56-year-old Taunton man, later died. DaRosa, who was from Taunton, located 39 miles south of Boston, was shot and killed at the Silver City Galleria by an off-duty deputy sheriff. “It appears that but for the actions of the deputy sheriff, there may very well have been other victims,” Quinn said. “I want to extend my heartfelt prayers and sympathies to the victims of this horrific violence.” Authorities said they did not see an ongoing threat from the attacks. “The suspect’s motive remains under investigation but at this point we are aware of no nexus to terrorism,” state police said in a statement. Headline: Dead Sea oil reservoir ‘entirely within Israel’ says company
An Israeli company authorized to drill an oil reservoir near the Dead Sea, recently evaluated to contain NIS 1.2 billion worth of fuel, stressed Sunday that the area is located entirely inside Israel, which it said was a response to Arab media reports that the site stretched into Palestinian territory. Israel Opportunity Energy Resources LP said in a statement sent to the media that the Hatrurim field “lies entirely within Israel’s borders.” The oil company said they were responding to “various reports” in the Arab media, though the statement did not specify which reports, nor the nature of their claims. A new report released Sunday by the company and filed with the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange claimed the Hatrurim oil reservoir, which covers 94 square kilometers of the Dead Sea area, is worth NIS 1.2 billion ($320 million). The report about the wealth at the oil field appeared to cause some consternation in Jordan, which controls the eastern bank of the Dead Sea. The chairman of the Jordanian Committee for Protecting the Homeland and Resisting Normalization, Dr. Manaf Majali, demanded the Hashemite Kingdom’s minister of energy check the validity of the report on the Hatrurim field, according to the Jordanian daily al-Ghad. “In the case that oil does exist [at Hatrurim] in a commercial quantity, then it totally belongs to Jordan and not to the occupation that stole it,” Majali said. Hamas has agreed and committed itself again to a de-escalation on the border of Israel and Gaza, Ynet learned on Sunday morning. On the night between Friday and Saturday, a rocket was fired from Gaza towards Eshkol, leading the Israeli Air Force to attack two Hamas targets in the southern Gaza Strip in retaliation. Israel, for its part, removed its forces from the perimeter, a 100-meter wide "buffer zone" along the border and inside Gazan territory. Construction crews working on the border fence on Saturday did not did advance beyond that zone. However, it seems that the IDF will continue to operate in the perimeter and beyond it if necessary. Hamas's true test will be how they respond to the entry of IDF forces in such a case. In recent days, Hamas has been pushing for and initiating talks to return calm. Egypt (via Egyptian intelligence officials), Qatar (via the head of the Qatari Committee for Reconstruction of Gaza, who has good relations with Israeli representatives), and the UN (via the United Nations Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process) were all parties to these talks. Large Hamas forces were deployed along the border with Israel, but the terror organization knows that this is a sensitive and complicated mission, especially in the first days after reaching an understanding. Headline: ISIS to Israel: “We’re coming very soon”
The last 48 hours (May 7-8) have seen a major escalation of the ISIS threats against Israel, debkafile’s intelligence and counterterrorism sources report. In a coordinated maneuver by all of the ISIS commands in the Middle East, the terrorist organization simultaneously released at least 10 videos that it said showed ISIS forces on their way to attack targets in Israel. All of the videos refer to the Palestinian issue, Jerusalem and the timing of the attacks. In each one, the narrator claims the terror organization did not forget the Palestinians, and will not neglect them any more; describes Jerusalem as “a bridge to Islam”; and threatens an impending attack, saying “We’re coming, and coming very soon” accompanied by images of fighters from the ISIS affiliate in the Sinai are shown. It was not the first time for the ISIS propaganda machine to threaten hostilities against Israel, but it was the first time for the threat to be issued simultaneously from every province or city where ISIS is located in the Middle East. The videos included ones from Raqqa, the ISIS capital in Syria; Mosul, the terrorist organization’s capital in Iraq; the Sinai Peninsula and Egypt; Derna in eastern Libya; and central Libya, where according to debkafile’s counterterrorism sources ISIS controls a huge 300-kilometer area including the Mediterranean coast on the Gulf of Sidra. Our sources report that every video contains the following sentences: “We know that the Egyptian army is being helped by Israeli intelligence and the Israeli Air Force in its war against us”; “We also know that Israel set up intelligence networks within the population of the Bedouin tribes in the Sinai”; and “From now on we will take action against Egyptian and Israeli targets as one.” debkafile’s intelligence sources report that these comments are intended to counter efforts by the Egyptian military to establish anti-ISIS militias among the Bedouin tribes. The Pentagon acknowledged for the first time Friday it has deployed US troops to Yemen since the country’s collapse last year to bolster government and Arab coalition forces battling Al-Qaeda. Spokesman Navy Captain Jeff Davis said the US military has also stepped up airstrikes against fighters with Yemen-based Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). A “very small number” of American military personnel have been working from a “fixed location” with Yemeni and Arab coalition forces — especially the Emiratis — in recent weeks around Mukalla, a port city seized by AQAP a year ago, Davis said. “This is of great interest to us. It does not serve our interests to have a terrorist organization in charge of a port city, and so we are assisting in that,” the spokesman added. He said the troops were helping the Emiratis with “intelligence support,” but refused to say if they are special operations forces. May 9, 2016
Headline: Egypt police killed in IS attack near Cairo
Eight policemen were shot dead on Cairo's southern outskirts in an attack claimed Sunday by the Islamic State group, one of its deadliest in mainland Egypt. The interior ministry said four assailants in a truck intercepted a van carrying the policemen in the district of Helwan, just south of Cairo, and sprayed them with automatic rifle fire. It said those killed in the shooting overnight included a lieutenant and seven lower ranking policemen who had been on patrol in plain clothing. In a statement circulated on social media, IS said "a squad of the soldiers of the caliphate" opened fire on the police van and then made off with their weapons. It said the attack was carried out in retaliation for "women imprisoned" in Egyptian jails. Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Gaffar sounded a defiant note as the slain policemen were laid to rest. "We hold our heads high, and won't bow them to any attempt to defeat our will," he told state television. May 8, 2016
Headline: Egypt's Sisi vows to fight for Palestinians at UN
Egypt will use its influence as chair of the UN Security Council in May to defend the interests of the Palestinians, the presidency said on Monday. The pledge, made during talks between President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, comes after France called for an international conference later this month to relaunch peace talks based on an initiative that would have Israel make massive concessions in exchange for paper promises not to attack from its Arab neighbors. Peace talks most recently were torpedoed by the PA in April 2014 when it signed a unity deal with Hamas. But last month, French Foreign Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault said France will host a meeting of ministers from 20 countries on May 30 to try to relaunch the peace process. Abbas and Sisi discussed "ways of coordinating Arab efforts and the steps that need to be taken within the UN Security Council" as Egypt holds the rotating presidency of the council for the month of May, a statement said. The two leaders said efforts to resolve the Palestinian-Israeli conflict should be bolstered in light of regional and international initiatives, including France's decision to host a conference. Israel has rejected the French initiative, calling for direct and unconditional negotiations as the only way forward. May 9, 2016

Syria Headline: Al-Qaida Affiliate Goes on Syrian Offensive
Syria Headline: Ayman al Zawahiri discusses al Qaeda’s goal of building an Islamic emirate in Syria
Al-Qaida’s affiliate in Syria has redoubled its efforts against Islamic State with its fighters pressing attacks on a militia in southern Syria that recently swore allegiance to its jihadist rival. The clashes are being seen as part of a bid by al-Qaida’s Jabhat al-Nusra to revitalize its fortunes in Syria, a strategy that has seen it taking the lead in offensives elsewhere in the war-torn country against the forces of Syrian President Bashar al Assad. Analysts say al-Nusra is attempting to demonstrate its military leverage over mainstream rebel militias, making it the indispensable force to align with against the Assad regime and IS. And its increased military activity may foreshadow a formal declaration by al-Qaida affiliate of an emirate in Syria’s Idlib province, west of Aleppo. In an audio tape released Sunday, al-Qaida leader Ayman al-Zawahiri appeared to authorize the establishment of a Syrian emirate. In the message - the first for several months - Zawahiri called on the jihad groups in Syria to unite. “Syria today is the hope of the Islamic nation, for [its revolution] is the only Arab Spring revolution that is taking the correct path – the path of da'wa (preaching) and jihad for the sake of strengthening the sharia and enacting [its laws], and for the sake of striving to establish a righteous caliphate, not the caliphate of Ibrahim Al-Badri (i.e., Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi, IS leader),” he said. Al-Qaida could be preparing to declare its own sovereign state in Syria after quietly gathering strength in the shadow of the international campaign against IS, says Lister, author of the book "The Syrian Jihad." Iraqi Headline: Car bombing kills at least 10 in Iraq's Baquba: Officials
A car bomb exploded on Monday in a busy area of the eastern Iraqi city of Baquba, killing at least 10 people, a senior military official and a doctor said. "A car bomb went off in the Shifta area of central Baquba, killing 10 people and wounding 35. This is an initial toll," a lieutenant colonel in the regional operations command said. A doctor at Baquba hospital and a police captain gave the same toll. Shifta is a busy area in central Baquba, a city which is the capital of the province of Diyala and lies about 70 kilometres (40 miles) northeast of Baghdad. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, but all such bombings recently have been claimed by the Islamic State group that took over large parts of Iraq nearly two years ago. Diyala province was declared "liberated" from IS in January 2015, but ending their open control of populated areas has not brought an end to attacks. Baquba and other towns in Diyala province have been hit by a number of large bomb attacks carried out by the jihadists. May 9, 2016
Iraqi Headline: Thousands of Iraqi families under ISIS siege in Fallujah
Radical group of the Islamic State (ISIS) has imposed siege on over 2,000 families from two villages south of the city of Fallujah, most of them are women and children, arresting dozens of young people from the two villages, official sources in the Iraqi army said on Sunday. ISIS is reportedly using civilians as human shields to prevent the progress of the Iraqi army forces to Fallujah. “The Iraqi army is ready to liberate the two villages and lift the siege imposed by the terror group on the people,” the army said in a statement. In this regard, the military command of the Iraqi army in Anbar province announced in an official statement that the Iraqi troops were able to destroy several headquarters for ISIS in the region, and dismantled 45 explosive devices in different parts of the province [Anbar]. The Iraqi jets also destroyed ten ISIS-led cars in an airstrike in the area of Amiriyat al-Fallujah in the Anbar province, killing at least 20 ISIS jihadis and injuring dozens more, according to Salim al-Jaberi, a military commander in the Iraqi army. Speaking to ARA News, Iraqi activist Saif Zahra said: “It seems that the military operations in Anbar province, specifically in Fallujah, have reached the stage of direct clashes with ISIS terrorists, especially the latter would not leave the city easily after two years of control.” May 9, 2016

Headline: International media silent as Turkey teeters on the brink of civil war
Headline: Turkey's Erdogan pours cold water on hopes of progress on EU deal
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu resigned on May 5, in a move initiated by President Reçep Tayyip Erdoğan in order to circumvent the lack of parliamentary numbers which could change the constitution to create an executive presidency. The increasing consolidation of power in the president’s hands, however, has only served to polarize the Turkish political situation further, fueling an already flourishing civil war. The move, coming on the heels of the European Union’s opening of much of its area to Turkish entry without visas, was likely to have an impact on the forthcoming June 23, United Kingdom referendum as to whether the UK should remain within the EU. In Turkey, a lower-profile prime minister was to be appointed on May 22, but the reality of the move was that the president would rule increasingly directly through his cabinet in the interim, and the incoming premier would be even more of a cipher than Davutoğlu. Headline: Turkish shelling kills 55 Daesh rebels in Syria
Turkish shelling killed 55 Daesh insurgents in northern Syria on Saturday evening, military sources said, in retaliation for weeks of rocket attacks on a Turkish border town. Artillery fire hit the regions of Suran and Tal El Hisn north of Aleppo, as well as Baragidah and Kusakcik, taking out three rocket installations and three vehicles in addition to the killings of the militants, the sources said on Sunday. Earlier on Saturday, US-led coalition air strikes in Syria killed 48 Daesh militants, according to a report from state-run Anadolu Agency. The Turkish border town of Kilis which lies just across the frontier from Daesh-controlled territory of Syria, has been regularly struck by rockets in recent weeks. May 9, 2016

Headline: Iran Reacts to Kurdish Independence
A senior Iranian general on Monday announced that the country’s armed forces successfully tested a precision-guided, medium-range ballistic missile two weeks ago, the state-run Tasnim agency reported. “We test-fired a missile with a range of 2,000 kilometers and a margin of error of eight meters,” Brigadier General Ali Abdollahi was quoted as saying at a Tehran science conference. The eight-meter margin means the “missile enjoys zero error,” he told conference participants. The general went on to say that 10 percent of Iran’s defense budget has been allocated to “research projects aimed at strengthening defense power,” the report said. May 9, 2016
Luke 21:9 and Matthew 24:7 speak of nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom in the end times.

Headline: Protests erupt in Athens as parliament adopts new austerity measures
Greek MPs have voted in favor of new austerity measures, including pension cuts, tax hikes, and new taxes on internet and TV. Clashes with police broke out as thousands in Athens protested the moves that Greece’s creditors have been demanding. Late on Sunday night, the Greek Parliament adopted controversial pension reforms set to reduce pension allowances and raise taxes, among other measures, in order to comply with EU bail-out requirements, as anti-austerity protests continued to rock Athens. According to the Greek Reporter news site, 153 out of 300 Greek Parliament deputies voted in favor of the bill. The legislation presupposes comprehensive cuts in funding to Greece’s social security system estimated at €5.4 billion. In addition, citizens will be subject to a range of new taxes, such those on coffee and electronic cigarettes. The VAT on fuel will increase by a staggering 24 percent. Greek citizens will already be feeling the burden of the newly-adopted fiscal measures this summer, as the five percent tax on broadband internet and ten percent on paid television are scheduled to kick in in July. Starting from January of next year, the consumption tax on coffee and electronic cigarettes will be enforced, along with a tax on tourists staying in hotels from 2 stars and up. Although the pending measures may be highly unpopular at home, the EU commended the controversial package as a constructive step towards Greece securing its third bail-out. “We are now at the time of the first review of the program (to aid Greece) and the objectives have been basically achieved,” European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker told Funke Mediengruppe on Sunday. Headline: Seven people shot dead as polls open in the Philippines
Seven people were shot dead and another was wounded when a convoy of vehicles was ambushed in the Philippines Monday just hours before polls opened for national elections, police said. Unknown gunmen opened fire on the jeep and two motorcycles before dawn in the town of Rosario, just south of the capital Manila, said Chief Inspector Jonathan del Rosario. The motive for the attack was not yet known. However the incident took place in the province of Cavite which has been identified by election officials as an "area of concern," due to heated political rivalries, said Mr del Rosario, spokesman of a special election violence monitoring task force. The task force previously said 15 people had been killed in election-related incidents since the start of the year. But there are many other cases of violence that have yet to be fully linked to the elections. Millions of Filipinos are expected to cast their votes on Monday to select new leaders ranging from president to town councillor. May 9, 2016
Matthew 24:7 “For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Luke 21:11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.” Luke21:25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring”
Headline: Close eye on Mt Ruapehu
An aerial observation was being conducted over Mt Ruapehu yesterday after temperatures in the active volcano's bubbling Crater Lake rose to the hottest on record. On Saturday, a tourist flight over the Crater Lake observed "vigorous steaming" at the lake and disturbance of the surface itself with "upwelling bubbles". This sort of activity had not been seen in years while Crown research institute GNS Science said a temperature of 44C was "the hottest lake temperature we have recorded since the new lake was established post-2000". A flurry of volcanic earthquakes reported on Tuesday had now stopped. However, the seismic network at Ruapehu continues to record volcanic tremors. May 9, 2016

Bible prophecy documentary book download proving our generation will see the return of the Lord. Do you want to know what is going to happen in the future before it actually takes place? The Word of God provides you with specific details about our future and all of these things are coming to pass in this generation. If you aren’t saved yet this is a must read! The Last Chronicles of Planet Earth May 3, 2016 Edition written by Frank DiMora My book is never to be sold for any reason it was written to help people get ready to meet the Lord and, to show what people will have to go through if they reject Jesus' free gift of salvation.
This message is for anyone who does not trust or, believe what Jesus warned us concerning the many earthquakes and the "great earthquakes" that would be seen in the last generation. When and who are the people of the last generation? Jesus tells us plainly in Matthew 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
For those who do not know who the fig tree is it is the nation of Israel. If you want to see more about the fig tree and its meaning you can go to the following: https://www.blueletterbible.org/study/larkin/dt/29.cfm
What Jesus showed us was, when the generation who saw the nation of Israel reborn again and, they also saw all the last day signs he showed us in Matthew 24 that would be the generation who would see Jesus Christ return as he promised. Since Israel was born again on May 14, 1948 all the birth pain signs we were warned about are in fact taking place and, these birth pains are getting much stronger and, they are coming more quickly now as well. One of the many signs Jesus told us to look for was many earth quakes as well as "great earthquakes".
Below you will see news that came out today concerning earthquakes. You do not need to be a prophet to tell people you are going to see some massive earthquakes take place soon and earthquakes taking place in places that you seldom see reported. Not only are we witnessing very strong quakes but for the past few years there has been increased in volcanoes go off. In 2015, there was a record number of volcanoes that blasted off and of course we saw the earthquakes that came with the volcanoes. The shaking you have witnessed is only the beginning of things to come! I gave a live prophecy seminar this past Tuesday May 3, 2016. Some one asked me what should I do to prepare? If you live in California and you do not have much money you can still prepare for an emergency. When the "great quake" hits California or, somewhere else in the U.S. there is a good chance the lines and internet will go down and, people will not be able to have the ability to use their credit cards. Banks may have the same problems with down lines and no internet access for a while.
As I said, if you don't have much money you still can make sure your family can eat something until emergency services come back. You can buy a 20 pound bag of rice that does't cost much right now. The rice will keep you alive and keep the hunger pains away. Keep in mind, you will need water to cock the rice so go get yourself as much bottled water as you can and you may need clean water to drink if your lines go down. There is a good chance that your water services may be cut when the great quake hits. It would also be a good idea to put some cash away and keep it at home just in case the banks can't open! When the U.S. soil rocks you may find yourself in a position where you will have to take care of yourself or your family. Question is are you ready to do that? Tell your family when the quake comes if you are apart when it hits that you will meet at a certain place if it is not your own home. This way your family will know what to do before the quake hits. It would also be a good idea to pick a friend or relative who lives out of state and give your family their phone number so when the quake hits family members can call that number to tell them your okay and where you can meet up. Why out of state? Because it is very likely that your phones will be down locally when the quake come. Trust me, there is going to be a lot of people who wished they prepared before the quake hit!
Watch the news because the earthquakes Jesus warned about are coming. Where they will hit I can not tell you, all I know is they are coming soon. If you live outside the U.S. take this message to heart as well because in the last days no one is safe from these quakes.
I am sorry this post today is short. I have two things that have come up today that is stopping me from posting more information. First, my fast lap top broke and I am without my lap top until I can get it fixed. The lap top I am using to post is very slow and I can not do much of the things I have been doing with the other lap top such as make Youtube videos. The second thing is, I am on my way to fill up my 8 (5 gallon) water bottles for the rice.
This site contains documentation regarding Bible prophecy and current events. The subject matter deals with facts supporting the fulfillment of bible prophecy, and it will prove this is the chosen generation to see Jesus Christ return, and I will prove this point in the book. To some people this subject is scary, but the current situation of the world was foretold in the Bible so we would understand and prepare for Christ's return. This site will help you be prepared for the Lord's 2nd coming and show you how you can enjoy your life while we wait for the Lord's return. All the documentation you will be reading on this site has been taken from the pages of my book which is called "THE LAST CHRONICLES OF PLANET EARTH". Unlike most authors I never charge anyone to read my book. Jesus warned that the generation who saw all these things (prophecies) take place at the same time, that would be the generation chosen to see His 2nd coming. Jesus in Matthew 24:33-34 said the following: "Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened." Belive me, you will want to be ready to meet Jesus when He calls His church home! I welcome any comments. Thank you. Frank DiMora
