A shallow M6.2 earthquake struck northwest China at 15:59 UTC (23:59 local time) on December 18, 2023, causing significant casualties and damage. Chinese state media reported on Tuesday that at least 118 people have died, with hundreds more injured as rescue teams work tirelessly to reach survivors in the freezing cold.
The USGS registered the quake as M5.9 at a depth of 10 km (6 miles), while the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) recorded it as M6.2. The epicenter was in Jishishan County, Gansu Province, near the border with Qinghai, a mountainous region on the Tibetan plateau’s edge.

The problem with witnessing to the Hindu is that he or she sees ones self as a believer. However, the bible shows you really are not.
To you as a Hindu, the word God does not communicate much because, to you everything is visible and invisible, is god or manifestations of god. This type of belief has caused a gulf between the Hindu a the messiah Jesus.
Your belief has made God an unknowable and unknown force and not a person.
To the person following Jesus he is a real person who came in the flesh as the God man.
If I said to you God loves you it would not make sense to you as as a Hindu you see yourself is a part of god!
Another thing to remember, as we try to reach Hindus with the gospel, is that the word Christian is a grossly misunderstood word by our Hindu friends.
To you as a Hindu Christian equals “beef eater,” and that is an obnoxious thing to you.
Why because as a Hindu the cow is one of their favorite gods, and to eat beef is one the most offensive things a Hindu can conceive of.

When I teach about Jesus of Nazareth I am teaching about a real God man The Bible presents Jesus as a historical person who lived and died in a specific time and place, and historians confirm this. To a Hindu, all avatars (incarnations of god) are mythical and non-historical.
The most important matter that separates true followers of a real God from those who follow mythical and non-historical gods is the resurrection of Christ , as there is nothing comparable in Hindu thinking at all.
I present Christ as a unique person of history, indeed the creator God Himself, who came to settle the sin problem of humanity. His resurrection is the proof that He was indeed God in human form.
To a Hindu, sin is a serious matter. He or she believes in transmigration of the soul so that the debt of sin can be paid back. In fact, the Puranas (Hindu religious books) say that a person has to be re-born millions of times to pay back the negative karmas (actions) of one life. And there is no guarantee that in the next birth there is no sin at all. So, to a Hindu, moksha (salvation) is almost unattainable, even though one works very hard for it.

The good news you as a Hindu need to understand is that Christ paid the penalty for our sins, once for all time (Hebrews 7:27) and that salvation is a free gift based on the work of Christ not based on a million times trying to reach perfection which you may never reach. Jesus wants you to get off the revolving reincarnation door and know for sure today, you can be saved this very moment you ask the God man Jesus into your life as your savior and Lord.
(Ephesians 2:8–9) 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Moksha (salvation) to a Hindu is becoming lost in the “ultimate reality,” thus losing identity forever by becoming one with the ultimate reality.
But the Bible talks about being with a personal God all through eternity, enjoying Him forever. This is something unique to biblical faith, and it must be presented as God’s own way for all men who will choose to live for Him here and now on earth.
So each person has to decide where he/she will spend eternity. By coming to Christ, we can receive salvation as a free gift by repentance and by faith based on His atoning work. May that be the portion of all Hindus, most of whom earnestly work toward getting moksha. May the Lord help you as a Hindu to see the truth of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

Revelation chapter 17 describes the Catholic Church to the letter. Rome is noted for the city of seven mountains Jesus points to this in revelation, chapter 17, verse nine. 9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. As you see in revelation 17:3 -4 the popes colors are scarlet and purple, identical to what Jesus gives to us revelation 17.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. The Catholic Church is decked with gold, precious stones, and the golden cup is used in the Catholic services by the pope. When you put all this information that the Lord has given us revelation, chapter 17, it points to the leader of the Catholic Church, the Pope. This is one of the reasons why the Pope is changing the doctrine that the Lord has given us in the Bible. Timothy warned us this changing of the doctrine would take place in the last days. Look at this verse. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Let us not forget what the Lord showed us concerning Him bringing Jews back to Israel in the end times. In Matthew chapter 24 Jesus tells his disciples the signs of the last days. Considering I may retire soon I wanted to make sure all of my viewers understand the importance of what Jesus said in chapter 24 and how it is going to affect you. As you will see I believe the most important part of chapter 24 is where Jesus talks about a certain generation. Please read verses 1-34 and pay special attention to the verses in red, then I will explain what is so important.
24 1And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
There are a great number of things you need to understand from what you just read. The first thing I want to point out is in this text Jesus gives many last day signs to look for. The most important part of the Lord's information is not just these individual signs but the following: 33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Each one of the signs by themselves would not suggest we have come to the point of the last days however, the key to knowing how close we are to the second coming of Christ is when all of the signs Jesus gave were seen all at once. Until that happened no one can say we have reached the last days.
There is a major sign that points to what generation was to see not only each last day sign by themselves but, would see them all at the same time which meant verse 33 has finally showed up in reality. In other words, Jesus second coming is near, even at the doors.
Let me take these important facts one at a time to show you how important this information is. There hasn't been a generation who has seen all of the last day signs taking place all at the same time until our generation. If you have been watching the news and know your bible it would already have been made clear to you our generation is witnessing the fulfillment of verse 33. There is no other generation that can make that claim!
Now when we look at verse 34 Jesus talks about that special generation. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Who is that special generation who will see the fulfillment of verse 33? The answer is found in verse 32 where Jesus stated, 32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:. The fig tree Jesus talks about is in fact the nation of Israel. Several Old Testament passages highlight the fig tree as a metaphor for Israel. Notably, the Book of Jeremiah (24:5) likens the people of Israel to good and bad figs, signifying their spiritual condition and covenant relationship with God. Additionally, the Book of Hosea (9:10) employs the imagery of the fig tree to convey the nation's unfaithfulness and impending judgment. Jesus also uses this Fig tree metaphor as echoed in the Gospel of Mark (11:12-14), where Jesus curses a barren fig tree as a symbol of spiritual barrenness.
So, the most important question to ask is has the fig tree (Israel) shown up in our generation? If it has you better believe the words of Christ when he says, know that it is near, even at the doors. You better believe the fig tree (Israel) is back. May 14, 1948 the nation of Israel was born again. The nation of Israel was destroyed by the Romans and the Jews were lead into captivity. Almost 2,000 years have past and all of a sudden in 1948, the Jews not only returned to the Motherland Israel but Israel was born as a nation for a second time. So, not only are all the last day signs all taking place but they are doing so while Israel is standing again. This year Israel is only 75 years young which would also fulfill these words by Christ, When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:. We know for sure that our generation who witnessed the rebirth of Israel and, is now living in a time when all the last day signs are taking place together, will still be alive to see Jesus Christ come back to Earth!!
Another major sign that that Jesus talks about in Chapter 24:37 is, 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Our own generation has taken on the image of the people living in Sodom and Gomorrah, and those of Noah's generation a perceived decline in moral values, an increase in immorality, or a departure from what is considered virtuous or righteous behavior. One good example most of you know is the spreading of the homosexual movement in many nations now around the world. In our generation even the satanic movement is growing. If you haven't taken Jesus as your Lord and savior yet plant this verse in your head. 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Jesus even told us when our generation became like Noah's, just like what happened to Noah's generation will happen again only this time it won't be a result of a world wide flood. We know how our generation will end from Christ's warning in the book of Revelation.
This is the bottom line. You are in the midst of bible prophecy for the last days being fulfilled. We know that the tribulation period is going to last 7 years. Israel is already 75 years young. Add those numbers and you get 82. Only Jesus knows how much time we have before the beginning of the 7 year tribulation but, what we do know is our generation is getting older and Jesus has to come before our generation is gone.
There are other major signs outside of Matthew chapter 24 that tell us our generation is the chosen generation to see Jesus return. Daniel 12:4 tells us our generation would be the one who increased in knowledge and travel back and forth. Our generation has increased in knowledge more than all previous generations put together. Our Generation is the one know to be the drug generation as seen in Revelation 9:21.
In the beginning of this post I said I wanted to tell you how this information will affect you. If you take on the the same life style as in the days of Noah where the people refused to walk with God you can expect to face the Antichrist and be cast into the Great tribulation. However, you can take the road Jesus wants you to take to escape God's wrath when it is poured out on the unbelievers. Jesus went to the cross so you wouldn't have to worry about hell or God's wrath during the tribulation. There is no greater love you will ever find than the Love Jesus wants you to take from him. Adam and Eve had a choice and they blew it but Jesus came to give you another chance to make the right choice and it can only be found in him. There is one person who doesn't want you to take the Lord Jesus salvation, his name is Satan. Don't let Satan win the battle over your soul. Hell is a real place and without the blood of Christ in your life you will spend an eternity in that lake of fire.
2024, will no doubt be a year of turmoil. After all Jesus warned us the end times would as a women in labor. Expect those birth pains to increase in the new year. I wish I could paint a better picture for you all but that is not what Christ taught us for the last days. You want to be happy and live in peace except Jesus as your savior today.

The Economy Of Pain And Suffering - Biggest Spike In Homelessness Ever Recorded

At least things are still good for those at the very top of the food chain. But for everyone else, economic conditions have already become very painful. Today, the vast majority of Americans have less money than they did prior to the pandemic, and thanks to raging inflation our standard of living is steadily going down.
We are in the early stages of "the greatest real estate correction" in our history, and 1 out of every five children in the United States does not have enough food to eat. With each passing day, more members of the middle class join the ranks of the poor, and more poor people find themselves getting kicked out into the streets.
According to the Wall Street Journal, new numbers show that the number of homeless people in the United States has reached a brand new record high...
The U.S. count of homeless people surged to the highest level on record, reaching more than 653,000 people early this year as Covid-19 pandemic-aid spending faded, new federal data show.
The increase reflects a collision of factors: rising housing costs; limited affordable housing units; the opioid epidemic; and the expired pandemic-era aid that had helped keep people in their homes, federal officials said Friday.
In addition to having more homeless people in this country than ever before, additional people are becoming homeless at the fastest pace on record...
Homelessness shot up by more than 12% this year, reaching 653,104 people. The numbers represent the sharpest increase and largest unhoused population since the federal government began tallying totals in 2007, the U.S. Department of Urban Planning and Development said Friday. Last year, federal data showed 582,462 people experienced homelessness.
We have literally never seen a spike in homelessness like this before.
It is being reported that prior to these new numbers "the previous largest increase was a spike of 2.7 percent recorded in 2019".
Just think about that for a moment.
At no point during the "Great Recession" did we see an increase in homelessness like this.
Essentially the floodgates have opened up and an absolutely massive tsunami of homelessness has begun.
Sadly, some groups are being hit much harder than others...
Black people made up 13% of the U.S. population in 2023, but they made up 21% of the U.S. population living in poverty, 37% of all people experiencing homelessness and 50% of homeless people in families with children.
Asian and Asian American people had the largest percentage increase in homelessness, up 40% from 2022, to a total of 11,574.
Hispanic and Latino people saw the largest numerical increase, up 28% from 2022 to 179,336 in 2023.
And please keep in mind that these are the ones that they can actually count.
How many more homeless Americans are out there that can't be found or that don't want to be found?
Of course many of you don't need me to tell you that we have a homelessness crisis in America.
All you have to do to see it is to step outside your front door.
In San Francisco, residents have to do "the Poopie Dance" as they go to work because so many homeless people use the streets as a toilet...
They call it 'The Poopie Dance' and San Franciscans are having to learn it - and quickly.
It involves constantly looking straight ahead to find a clean line between where you are on the street and where you want to go.
Sadly, it's the reality in parts of the Bay City as the growing homeless population have taken to using the famed streets of San Francisco as one giant open-air toilet.
So why is this happening?
Well, the truth is that there are a lot of factors that are contributing to this crisis, but one of the biggest is the fact that housing in the U.S. is now more unaffordable than it has ever been before...
High housing costs continue to be a financial stressor for the poorest Americans. In recent years, more people in the U.S. are rent-burdened, according to HUD, meaning they spend more than 30% or even over 50% of their income on rent.
Of course just about everything is less affordable these days.
For example, just check out what a new Ford F-150 will cost you these days...
For the 2024 F-150 XLT, in the two-door rear-wheel-drive base-everything configuration, the MSRP before "destination and delivery charges" is $47,620 per Ford's website today. The "destination and delivery charges" of $1,995 give the truck a total MSRP of $49,615.
The average transaction price for all new vehicles sold is about $46,000, according to J.D. Power. A fully decked-out high-end F-series 4×4 Crew Cab can be well over $100,000.
Ouch!
A new truck is out of reach for most Americans at this point.
And actually "a middle class lifestyle" is out of reach for most Americans at this point.
The numbers that the government gives us say that we aren't officially in a recession at this moment, but to most of us it certainly feels like a recession has already begun...
That's according to a recent survey conducted by Bankrate, which found 59% of U.S. adults feel like the economy is in a recession, defined by two consecutive quarters of negative growth.
Regardless of income, households said they are feeling the pressure at about the same amount. Sixty percent of respondents in the lowest-income households, making under $50,000 a year, said the economy feels like it is in a recession. Of those in higher-income households making more than $100,000 annually, 61% agreed.
I wish that I could tell you that economic conditions will improve in 2024 and beyond.
But I can't do that, because the truth is that they are going to get worse.
The U.S. economy really is plunging into an abyss, and so much pain and suffering is ahead.
So if you have a warm home to sleep in tonight, be thankful, because there are countless others that do not.

The protesters banged a drum and used a bullhorn to lead chants of the false claim “Jesus was a Palestinian.” A Toronto member of the Canadian parliament posted a statement condemning the protest.
