Is America getting lazy? America is seeing an abundance of homeless people. The question is how many of these homeless people are homeless because they choose not to get a job? The Bible contains several passages that emphasize the importance of work and the value of being industrious rather than idle. I understand there are other reasons other than not wanting to work that May breaking someone to become homeless and these people need help however, for those who just don’t want a job Here are some key verses to keep in mind before you ask someone for money.
1. **2 Thessalonians 3:10**: "For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: 'The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.'"
- This verse emphasizes that those who are capable of working should do so and that work is a necessary part of life.
2. **Proverbs 6:6-11**: "Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest—and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man."
- This passage uses the example of an ant to highlight the wisdom of diligent work and the dangers of laziness.
3. **Proverbs 14:23**: "All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty."
- This verse underscores the value of hard work and contrasts it with the emptiness of laziness or mere talk.
4. **Colossians 3:23**: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters."
- This verse encourages a strong work ethic, suggesting that work should be done diligently and with sincerity as if serving God.
These passages reflect the biblical perspective that work is a fundamental part of life and that idleness or laziness is discouraged. The Bible advocates for diligence, responsibility, and the fulfillment of one's duties.

What did Jesus mean when he warned the following: 2 Thessalonians 2:11 "And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:" This verse comes in the context of discussing those who refuse to believe in the truth of the Gospel and instead choose to follow falsehoods and deceit. It suggests that God allows or permits a powerful delusion to befall those who reject the truth, leading them further away from it and towards believing lies. This is seen as a form of judgment or consequence for their rejection of the truth. Is is possible when the Church of Christ is raptured away to heaven that the strong delusion may be the people missing were taken away by aligns and the ones left on Earth are good people, when in fact the opposite is true?
