In Aleppo countryside, the opposition turns the tables on the Syrian regime
In the early hours of Wednesday, opposition factions including the Sunni Islamist group Tahrir al-Sham launched the battles, ultimately capturing multiple villages and towns in the western Aleppo countryside. Among the spoils was the Syrian Army’s 46th Regiment military base, which had been subjected to near-daily shelling since the regime captured it in February 2020. At the time of this report, the factions are still engaged in battle. These battles mark one of the most significant offensives in recent years, breaking a period of relative stagnation in Syria’s civil conflict. The front lines have remained largely static since President Bashar al-Assad’s government regained control of most of the country, bolstered by Russian military support. Syrian rebels sweep into Aleppo, Russia conducts strikes in support of Assad
The Syrian army said on Saturday that dozens of its soldiers had been killed in a major attack by rebels who swept into the city of Aleppo, forcing the army to redeploy in the biggest challenge to President Bashar al-Assad in years. The surprise attack, led by the Islamist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, was the boldest rebel assault in years in the civil war, where frontlines had largely been frozen since 2020.

The Islamist attack on Aleppo is “ostensibly good news for Israel,” Daniel Rakov, a senior research fellow for the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security, said in a Saturday post to X/Twitter. “the fall of northern Syria to the rebels damages the infrastructure of the Iranians and Hezbollah there and will make it difficult for them to work to restore Hezbollah.”
The enmity between Syria and Israel is rooted in a complex history of political, territorial, and ideological conflicts that date back to the mid-20th century, particularly surrounding the establishment of Israel in 1948. Here are key reasons why tensions persist:
1. Territorial Disputes
• Golan Heights: Syria and Israel have been at odds over the Golan Heights, a strategically important region captured by Israel during the 1967 Six-Day War and annexed in 1981. Syria views this as occupied territory, while Israel considers it vital for its security.
2. Arab-Israeli Conflict
• Syria has historically aligned itself with the broader Arab opposition to Israel’s existence, especially during the Arab-Israeli wars in 1948, 1967, and 1973. Despite some Arab states normalizing relations with Israel in recent years, Syria remains firmly opposed.
3. Support for Anti-Israel Groups
• Syria has supported groups hostile to Israel, such as Hezbollah in Lebanon and various Palestinian factions, including Hamas. This has fueled ongoing animosity, as Israel views these groups as threats to its security.
4. Iranian Influence
• Syria’s close alliance with Iran, a major adversary of Israel, exacerbates tensions. Iran’s support for militant groups and its anti-Israel rhetoric are echoed in Syria’s policies.
5. Regional Instability
• The Syrian Civil War, which began in 2011, has added new layers of complexity. While Israel has largely stayed out of direct involvement, it has conducted airstrikes in Syria targeting Iranian military installations and arms transfers to Hezbollah, further straining relations.
6. Lack of Diplomatic Relations
• Unlike some Arab states that have entered peace agreements or normalized ties with Israel (e.g., Egypt, Jordan, and the UAE), Syria has no formal diplomatic relations with Israel, maintaining a state of hostility.
Prospects for the Future
While there is little sign of imminent reconciliation, changes in regional dynamics—such as shifts in alliances, international diplomacy, or internal political changes in either country—could potentially alter this relationship over time. However, the deep historical and ideological divides make peace a significant challenge. However, the fact that the Lord tells us what is going to happen to Syria should tell you all to believe what the Lord says!

China who is from the east of the Euphrates river has boasted they have armed an army of 200 million soldiers, the exact same number that Jesus gave to us in revelation 9:16. This is the reason I believe we are seeing so much news concerning China and it’s growing power in this last generation.

Severe floods hit southern Thailand, affecting over 240 000 households

Canadian Town Fined And Mayor Sent For Compulsory Education After Failing To Hoist Pride Flag
CBC News is reporting that the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal has ordered the small town of Emo to pay damages after failing to hoist an “LGBTQ2 rainbow flag” in celebration of Pride Month. One problem is that the town of fewer than 2000 inhabitants does not have a flagpole (though you could presumably “show the flag” in other ways).
Arla’s project adding anti-methane compound to cows’ feed is another limb of the fake food agenda
Arla has enlisted 30 farms to participate in trials of an additive to cattle feed that they claim will reduce methane gas emissions.
